Kali Linux is one of the most advanced operating systems for penetration testing and security in general. Developed by the same creators as Backtrack. The distribution, besides being able to be installed on the hard disk, can also be used directly from a pendrive.
It is very important to point out that this distribution will not make you a hacker. Kali Linux is nothing more than a "Swiss army knife" of tools gathered in a Linux distribution. These tools can be downloaded and used in any other distribution.
