How Baixe.net verifies downloads
Each item has a specific evidence level. A checked source does not mean the installation was tested, and no report guarantees zero risk.
1. Source checked
The team compares the app identity, developer, version, requirements and official address with the project source.
2. Integrity recorded
When available, we publish the SHA-256 that identifies the exact file offered.
3. External scan
We show the date and recorded VirusTotal result, including detections.
4. Installation tested
This level appears only after execution in an isolated environment, with the date and operating system disclosed.
Verification limits
Results can change after updates. Security tools may produce false positives or miss threats. Check the source and review every warning before installing.
Corrections and transparency
Editorial review dates are kept separate from software update dates. Broken links and discrepancies can be reported from the software page.
