• Repair of damaged user profiles: APF automates the process of creating a new user profile with the same name, profile directory, and privileges as the corrupted profile. • Microsoft account conversion: If the account to be repaired is a Microsoft account, it will be converted to a local account. The user can continue to use the Microsoft account after the process, but the login password will be removed, which can be created again as needed.
• Customization options: During the repair, the user can choose whether to keep certain folders, such as %LocalAppData%\Packages and %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows, which are usually deleted in the process. By default, these folders are deleted to avoid transferring potentially corrupted data.

How it works:

• Security warnings: The software has a recent code-signing certificate, which may trigger a Smart Screen warning saying that the file is not commonly downloaded. The user should ignore the warning and proceed with the installation.
• Windows Store: After the repair, it may be necessary to reinstall some Windows Store applications.
