MyCam is a free utility that allows you to take videos and photos with almost any existing webcam. It is a light, practical and easy-to-use program. It doesn't even require installation, just download, run and start using. Take it anywhere on a pendrive for example.
With this utility you can save your photos with reasonable quality, in JPEG and BMP formats. The videos are likewise saved with relatively good quality, it is possible to save them in AVI, MP3 and MJPEG formats. There are not so many options for formats, but it breaks a branch.
To use the program it is quite simple, after running, choose the webcam by clicking DEVICE. On the OPTIONS tab you can choose the directory where the recorded files will be saved, also on this tab you can choose the quality and formats you prefer.
