Dragon Ball Online was originally released in 2010 in Korea. But at the end of 2013 the producer decided to close the 3 servers existing at that time.
However, to the delight of Dragon Ball and DBO fans, a user from the community decided to continue the work and created a private server for the game.
This brought a huge improvement to the game, mainly because it was fully translated into English.
Another advantage brought by the "alternative" version is the fact that the server is hosted in the United States, and no longer on the old Korean servers, bringing a big improvement in relation to the player's delay.
The saga takes place 216 years after Dragon Ball Z ends, and the threat now is Mira who wants to invade Earth to go back in time and get Goku's DNA to become more powerful.
