AdGuard is ad-blocking and privacy protection software for computers running the Windows operating system (7, 8, 10, and 11). It goes beyond browser extensions, offering system-level traffic filtering, blocking ads, trackers, and threats in browsers and applications.

Main Features

1. Ad Blocking:
   • Removes ads on websites and applications, including banners, pop-ups, video ads (like on YouTube), interstitials, and text ads.
   • Uses list-based filters such as EasyList, EasyPrivacy, and AdGuard's own filters, supporting custom rules.
   • Blocks ads before loading, speeding up browsing and reducing data consumption.
2. Privacy Protection:
   • Blocks third-party trackers, tracking cookies, and analytical scripts that collect user data.
   • Includes Stealth Mode, which hides information such as IP address, website referrals, and search queries, in addition to automatically clearing cookies.
   • Protects against phishing and malicious websites, using security databases like Google Safe Browsing and Yandex Safe Browsing.
3. Parental Control:
   • Allows blocking inappropriate content, such as adult websites, in browsers and search results.
   • Offers options to restrict access to specific categories of sites or set usage times, ideal for protecting children.
4. System-Level Filtering:
   • Functions as a network driver, filtering all internet traffic, not just in browsers but also in applications (e.g., Spotify, games).
   • Supports HTTPS Filtering, blocking ads and trackers on secure connections, with certificates managed by AdGuard.
5. Customization:
   • User-friendly interface allows enabling/disabling filters, adding sites to the whitelist, or creating specific rules.
   • Adjustable filtering mode: full blocking, ads only, or trackers only.
