The AdBlock is the most used extension for Google Chrome. This extension allows you to block any type of ad across the web, including those ads that YouTube forces you to watch at the beginning of a video.
To install it, simply click on Download and then click on Add to Chrome, and that's it! Now visit your favorite site without any ads!
In the options, you can customize the types of ads you want or don't want to see, or even add specific domains. For example, if you only don't want to see ads on YouTube, click on the Chrome settings in the upper right corner, then Options, Extensions, click on Options for AdBlock, Customize, and under Show ads on a webpage or domain, add the domain youtube.com.
