How do I compress a PDF?

Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Processing happens in your browser; Baixe.net does not receive or store your PDF.
Why didn't my PDF get smaller?
The tool reorganizes and optimizes the file structure without rasterizing pages. It does not recompress embedded images, so PDFs with photos, scans, or prior optimization may not shrink.
Will the text remain selectable?
Yes. The tool does not turn pages into images. Still, review the output PDF before sharing it.
